this is a book cover illustration i made for a novel of m. boehme, called "das bittere mahl" ("the bitter meal"), a zombie-story.
i used collage and mixed media (crayons, ink, pencil etc.) as technique.

It looks amazing! I can see lots of different texture, the skull seems to still have some skin on it(i think) To make such a realistic picture AND use traditional media makes it even more amazing

Really great drawing! I love tha palette... and the pose of the boy - reminds me of the old sepia B/W photographs... very melancholic.
